Take a walk in the Spirit

Take a walk in the Spirit

I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

~~~Reflections~~~
The Holy Spirit will be provide you with direction and guide you. While you walk in the Spirit you walk in confidence.. The Holy Spirit will be there to encourage you, and give you instruction on how to live your life, and you will not fear.  You will know where your victory is. Through Jesus Christ our Lord!
While fasting you need to Plug into the power of prayer and the word of God. Fasting done right can help you to gain control over your fleshly cravings and your fleshly desires. Fasting is to deny the flesh of its natural desires, and replacing it with time with the Lord. It will take self-control and discipline. It's not a walk in the park.
Hunger, cravings and habits are lusts of the flesh, Fasting will help you to develop a stronger relationship and more dependency on God.   Having more of God and less of your self will build self-control, in other areas of your life. Preparing you to face temptations of the flesh in the future. You will form habits of going to the Lord and seeking wisdom and guidance naturally. A chain reaction will begin the enhancing the fruits of the Spirit.
Galatians 5: 22-28
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
LORD, I give you thanks for the Fruits of You Holy Spirit. I do want a stronger relationship with you Lord. Enhance the fruits of the Spirit in Me. As I seek you. Help me to Walk in the Spirit, always listening to your instruction. To be an image of you.  In Jesus Christ Name Amen.
A Promise of the Holy Spirit
A Promise of the Holy Spirit
John 7:38
On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.  He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
~~~Reflections~~~

We thirst for more of the Holy Spirit's presence.  A thirst for God will bring you a Season of Spiritual Growth. Even more so when you act on it. Fasting is a great way to get a drink of that Living Water. Fasting is also one of the greatest spiritual warfare weapons, as long as you do it with prayer, word and worship. With out prayer, word and worship fasting is only a diet. When you fast there is an increase of the Lords presence and favor.  If you want to have your heart to flow with rivers of living water, the Holy Spirit, Believe in Jesus. Draw near to him, during the fast and Expect to receive favor from the Lord.

Never Hunger, Never Thirst,

Bread of Life

John 6:35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst."

~~~Reflections~~~
When you read this verse, most likely you think about physical food.
I want you to picture your most desired food, Something you might eat everyday. Any meal.
Now think about the drink, what ever drink you enjoy the most. Mine would be that cup of coffee first thing in the morning. The aroma that fills the air.
Jesus is the Bread of Life and you shall never hunger and never thirst.  If you are hungry or thirsty for more of Him. Give up somethings that you Love to eat and or drink,  This is called a fast. Fasting is meant for you to have grow a deeper relationship with the Lord.  The length and reasons of a fast may vary.  1 day, 3 days, a week,  21 days.... ordaining the elders of a church, Seeking the Lord, Intercession, Humbling yourself, repenting, healing, Gods favor, protection, spiritual deliverance.
When you deny yourself your desires. Seeking the Lord diligently in worship, prayer and  in the word.Jesus will give you an abundance of Himself. The Bread of Life. The Living Water. Food for your soul.
For More on Fasting
He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written.
King of Kings and Lord of Lords
Revelation 19:11-16
Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.  His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself.  He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.  And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.  Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron.
He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS
~~~Reflections~~~
What a sight to behold, Jesus come riding in on a White Horse.
Being Faithful and True. He is Righteous to judge and make war.
His name is called the Word of God. Ruler of all the nations.
He is the  KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS.

O woman, great is your faith!

O woman, great is your faith!

Matthew 15:21-28
Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon. 22 And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying,
“Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.”
But He answered her not a word.
And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after us.”

But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!”
But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.”
And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”
Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

~~~Reflections~~~
This example of the Mothers FAITH, and how her faith healed her daughter of a severely demon-possessed daughter.
Nothing in impossible for God. He sees your heart and sees your faith. Reach out and make your requests known to Him Boldly in Prayer with Faith. Believing with complete trust and confidence, in faith.
What a beautiful picture of God's forgiveness!
What a beautiful picture of God's forgiveness!
Isaiah 1:18
"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord,
 "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool."
Psalm 51:7
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
1John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
.
~~~Reflections~~~
The Lord tells us that if we come to Him and confess, or repent of our sins.
He will take the ugly sins that we have in our life and wash them away, and make us as pure and as white as that freshly fallen snow. What a beautiful picture of God's forgiveness!
Though our sins be like scarlet and crimson,
God says, "I will get rid of all that. I will take it away and I will wash you white as snow."
David knew the meaning of these verses and found true grace in them and in God's mercy.
In Psalm 51, after he had sinned and fallen into adultery with Bathsheba,

David had accepted God's forgiveness for his repentance. So do we.
Are you discouraged because of something you did?
Thinking it is to big for God to forgive, worrying that God will not forgive you?
"If you come to me I will take those sins, wash them away and make you as white as snow."
David said even whiter than snow Lord?

Stop worrying, come to the Lord and ask Him to forgive you and accept God's forgiveness, like David did. . Let Jesus take your sins and wash you whiter than snow, We all fall short of the Glory of God. Jesus was the only one without sin.

Pray this, Father forgive me for my sins, and help me to not to sin anymore. Lead me and Guide me, wash me as white as the Snow. In Jesus Christ Name. Amen.

Anticipating the Glory of the Lord to shine upon you for the New Year.
What a beautiful way to awaken to the earth covered in White
Snow covering earth. Fluffy White Snow Flakes falling from the sky.
When I looked out my window and saw all that fresh snow.
I found it so refreshing!

All that black, dirty snow. Now gone. Everything covered in White.
A welcoming site, as it's beauty sparkles, on every tree limb.
I Love to look out at the snow. Taking walks in the snow.
The Feel of that fresh brisk air, is so invigorating.
After weeks of the snow plows and the traffic making the snow dirty
with that ugly black soot.
Then theirs all the slush from the warm weather and the
build up of ice from the frozen nights.

When I look at the snow, it is a reminder of the goodness of God.
All the Old things passing away. Washing and cleaning making all things become new.
Cleansing my dirty ugly sins even whiter than snow.
The Fresh snow, reminded me of the New Expectations for this New year from the Lord.
and the washing away of our Sins.
that I look forward to in this New Year.
This is why felt so refreshed and Renewed.
I used the snow as a reminder to myself of the Word of God.
I am forgiven,  Washed as white as snow before the Lord.  Thank You Lord.

Be imitators of God

Be imitators of God

Ephesians 5:1-2
Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

~~~  Reflections ~~~
Working towards really become imitators of God. Means you have to seek the Lord.
To be imitators of God, we must first know who God is. Your relationship with God, must be an intimate relationship. To be intimate means to spend quality time with the Lord. Talk to him, like you would a close friend. You need to grow in your relationship with the Lord.
Have Intimacy with Him.
His loving kindness is better than life.
You can find a deeper understanding of the love of God, than you ever knew before.
He will reveal Himself to you. He wants you to know him deeper than you already know him.
He wants your heart, mind and soul to be 100% belonging to him.
Learning who He is will allow you many different ways you can call upon your faith, in any circumstance.
Our Goal should be to be engulfed in who is God's character. This will take you to a deeper relationship with the Lord.  We need to know who He is. So we can be the Imitators of God. This means Digging into the word, Seeking the Lord.
With all your heart, mind and soul. Allowing His Presence and The Word to be our greatest treasures.
If you want to be a Being more like God, here are a few characters of God, be  filled with Compassion. Merciful, Full of Grace, Slow to anger, Bountiful in Kindness and Truthful.
This means letting go of any thing that holds you back from the Lord, From His presence. Anything that blocks you from  being in the presence of the Lord needs to be torn down. STOPPED! It can be the way we spend our Time, habits, people, distraction, material things, coveting, laziness, fornicators, idols, foolish talking, coarse words, routines, anything that is of the flesh that is creating road blocks in our way to a closer relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Needs to be replaced with time seeking Him.
Ask, Seek the Lord, and He will deliver and He will establish you in His ways.
Seek the Lord, and He will Seek You. Seek his word to get to know him, Keep Seeking, Keep Asking. Pray, Thank Him. Call on Him.
 Engage with others who seek the Lord. Worship, Praise Him, For He is Worthy! Be patient, Intimacy doesn't happen overnight.  Sometimes I think we get into the habit, of prayer being asking God for things. Being intimate with the Lord God is a Sharing your innermost thoughts with the Lord, and waiting on him to share Himself with You.  By abiding in the Lord. The presence of the Lord will abide in you.
Matthew 7: 7-8
Ask, and it will be given to you, seek, and you will find, knock, and it will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
1 John 4: 13
By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
Accelerate beyond those challenges or building bricks of faith
Accelerate beyond those challenges or building bricks of faith !
Ephesians 3:14-21
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,  that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,  that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height, to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen
Hebrews 13:5
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
~~~Reflections~~~

When I think about all that God has in store for our futures, It makes my head spin.
We are about to accelerate beyond those challenges or building bricks that built our faith from of our past and into the fullness of our destiny!

Does 't matter if you have a huge pile of bricks, small pile or a of bricks. Some of your bricks may have been shattered, some may have been neatly cleaned up with your faith. All those bricks of Faith were used to build up your faith, so you could be bold, strong and gain understanding that He will always be with you and never forsake you!   The future where we are about to have a growth spurt in knowledge and understanding, the comprehension of Faith, Love and the and the fullness of the Lord. That He is going to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask for or think of.

The light switch is about to be turned on.  Knowledge and Understanding is welcomed here. Thank You Lord for Faith, knowledge, Love, and Understanding  and the fullness of the Lord. For strengthening our souls with your Overflowing Love and Trust in You.
How do we do this? Spending time with the Lord. By designating time with the Lord. Worshipping, Word, and Prayer. Telling Him Thank You. Ask him to give you the understanding of his Word.  Use us Lord, Accelerate us with Boldness and Faith abundantly.  Build us up Lord. In Jesus Name we pray.
