He is the head of the body

Colossians 1:18

And He is the head of the body,
the church,
who is the beginning,
the firstborn from the dead,
that in all things
He may have the preeminence.
 

He is the image of the invisible GOD,

Colossians 1:15

He is the image of the invisible God,
 the firstborn over all creation.

she brought forth her firstborn Son

Luke 2:7

And she brought forth her firstborn Son,
and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger,
because there was no room for them in the inn.

Revelation 1:5-7

 

In Revelation 1:5-7 there are 8 descriptions of Jesus

 



















1. Jesus  Christ (Rev. 1:5)

2. Faithful and true witness (Rev. 1:5)

3. Firstborn from the dead (Rev. 1:5)

4. Ruler of the kings of the earth (Rev. 1:5)

5. To Him who loved us   (Rev. 1:5-6)

6. washed us  (Rev. 1:5-6)

7. has made us kings and priests (Rev 1:6)

8. He is coming with clouds (Rev. 1:7)


Revelation 1:5-7

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.
To Him who loved us and washed[a] us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings[b] and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
