Revelation 1:5-7

 

In Revelation 1:5-7 there are 8 descriptions of Jesus

 

1. Jesus  Christ (Rev. 1:5)

2. Faithful and true witness (Rev. 1:5)

3. Firstborn from the dead (Rev. 1:5)

4. Ruler of the kings of the earth (Rev. 1:5)

5. To Him who loved us   (Rev. 1:5-6)

6. washed us  (Rev. 1:5-6)

7. has made us kings and priests (Rev 1:6)

8. He is coming with clouds (Rev. 1:7)

Revelation 1:5-7

⁵ and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.
To Him who loved us and washed^[a] us from our sins in His own blood, ⁶ and has made us kings^[b] and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
⁷ Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
