"No room in the inn!"

Luke 2:11-14
For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
And this will be the sign to you:
You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

~~~Reflections~~~
"No room in the inn!"
"Placed is him in a manger!"
Isn't it interesting how God revealed Jesus to the world.
He entered the world as the child of a Jewish carpenter and a young virgin from a small town.
Born in a manger. "Glory to God in the Highest"
You hear some say. So sad, I say How prestigious to be greeted by an Angel and a multitude of heavenly host Praising HIM!
God wants us to notice those in need around us.
He wants it to be more than an annual good gesture at Christmas.
He wants us to be advocates for the widows, the poor and those around us  who are struggling.
We're not just told to be fair,
we are told to take the time for those in need.
When you do, do it for the Lord.
As the tender of the inn.
He didn't have much but he gave what he had.
A manger.
Sometimes when you don't have nothing to give,
you can be and advocate for those who are in need.
Lift up there needs in prayer.
 ~~~Prayer~~~
Lord, Make me more aware of those around me who need your love and grace.
Make me your instrument to help them and to serve them.
You supply all my needs. I ask that you would supply the needs to the.
poor, widows, lonely, to those who don't know you Lord.
I come as an advocate on their behalf.
Now I ask for the overflow of blessings to supply others needs.
Open my eyes to see Jesus in the faces of those in need.
Open doors of provision, for me also Lord that I may tend to your sheep.
In the name of my Jesus, Amen.

Make room in the inn.

Luke 2:6-7

So it was, that while they were there,
the days were completed for her to be delivered.
And she brought forth her firstborn Son,
and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths,
and laid Him in a manger,
because there was no room for them in the inn.

~~~Reflections~~~
If each of us is an innkeeper. Have you made room for Jesus in your life?  If not. There is still time.  Get on your knees, Raise your hands and Worship the King of Kings, Glory to the King of the Jews! the Messiah, the one who was born and died for your sins.
Make Room.. Pray this prayer.
Father, we thank you for grace. We are willing to make room for you in our lives. Forgive us of our selfishness, and our sins. Help us to always put you first. Help me to be the innkeeper who decides to make room, Who makes time for You and your Word. Holy Spirit we welcome you. In Jesus Christ Name. Amen.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, Christ The Lord!
Glory in the Highest
Luke 2:11
Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold  an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid.
Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.
For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying
“Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.” And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger.
Now when they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying which was told them concerning this Child.  And all those who heard it marveled at those things which were told them by the shepherds.  But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart. Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen,
as it was told them.
~~~Reflections~~~
So fitting that GOD would have his Son, The Messiah, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Prince, Savior, High Priest, The One who will Sit at the Right Hand of God, be born in a Stable.  A stable.  Not in an inn, a hospital, or a fancy palace, for the things of this world mean nothing. For all we really need is the Lord.  Setting our minds on things from above, not on things on the earth. Glory to God in the highest! He has us focusing on the ONE thing that is most important. The birth of the Messiah. The Savior. The One who would die for you.

Acts 5:30-32
The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.  And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”
