The Lord is at Hand.

Philippians 4:5
Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

~~~ Reflections ~~~
Most often we are focus only on the things we like or that we are good at doing.
Those things that we aren't interested or we are wanting to accomplish. Our goals.
Really think about it, Nobody wants to fail. Paul even goes to teach us what we
should meditate on. Meditate on whatever is noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy.
Nobody wants to do the things that we don't desire.
Personally, I don't want enjoy confrontation. I try to avoid it. The flight response.
There are times when the Lord encourages to fight.
He wants us to be disciplined and grow in the areas we are spiritual weak.
The areas we don't necessarily find exciting or interesting, God can still use us. He can be our mediator.
When the Lord is at hand, our gentleness can me known to all people, in every situation.
Sounds easy enough. Right?  Not always. Not perfect here.  Sometimes people rub us wrong. God still wants us to love everyone, and share the good news with even those who we may disagree with.  Pray for them, or with them. This takes preparation, routines. Prayer, Focus, and mediation. Phi
God wants us to have the understanding through the Holy Spirit.
The devil is crafty, evil and will try to attack us in the areas of our weakness and vulnerability.
So let's not just commit to be diligent to the Lord,
in the areas of our interest and strengths.
Also in those areas where we are not strong, where we are uncomfortable.
Those situations of an unpleasantness, painful feelings. when we feel embarrassed or nervous.
The Lord can use those for His Glory.
~~~ Prayer ~~~

Father, Be my strength me in the areas where I am most vulnerable to sin or feel uncomfortable. Open my eyes to help me see your will in areas of weakness and in the things I Love to do.  Use me in every area of my life.  Show your gentle kindness to others through me, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Rekindle my heart to passionately seek after your holiness, and your will.
In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

AWAKEN WITH EXPECTATION OF THE GOOD THINGS THE LORD HAS INSTORE

Psalms 100

Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!
Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.
Know that the Lord, He is God.
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves.
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
For the Lord is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations

 ~~~Reflections~~~
Total attitude adjustments can make a big difference in the outcome of your day.  Waking up with expectations of Good things to happen because the Lord is in charge of  all things, including the storms, circumstances and
our future destiny.
By starting your day with Thanking the Lord for His goodness, this can change your whole atitude for the day. Giving the Lord Praise when we enter into a new day, can make a world of difference.
Upon awakening, if we look out the window, and let that be our deciding factor of our day. we are allowing our circustances or sorroundings to dictate our destiny for the day.
We should be awaken with Joy in the Lord. With expectation of what God has instore for us.
If we look outside and see the foggy, cold rainy day. Are we going to allow that to determeine our day, How is that pleasing to the Lord?
He wants us to put off complaining, grumbling and Snippiness, ( Philippians 2:12-18 ) If we want the Holy Spirit to lead us in pure Joy, it can come from our gratitude to the Lord.  Having an irritable attitude, could withhold the Lords presence for day. It is important for us to put away the grumbling and complaining, Start the day with Thanks, gratitude, Praise and Rejoicing before the Lord is In this way we please the Lord.
Psalms 118:24
This is the day the Lord has made
We will rejoice and be glad in it!
( Philippians 2:12-18 )
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,  holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.
Yes, and if I am being poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. For the same reason you also be glad and rejoice with me.
